Farrakhan’s Million Family March

All Muslims are advised to ignore Farrakhan’s Million Family March. Some Muslim leaders are supporting Louis Farrakhan due to their sincere passion for Islam, desire for the unity of the Muslims and to support famous people who even remotely appear to be supporting "Islamic causes". Due to their ignorance about the "real" Farrakhan, they are deceived by the rhetoric of Farrakhan. Farrakhan is a master of words and expert in fooling people. The FBI and CIA love these kind of characters and work hard to put them on their payroll. These Muslim leaders do not bother to read Farrakhan’s weekly newspaper, THE FINAL CALL, nor do they bother to listen to his regular radio broadcasts for his followers nor do they watch and listen to his audio and video tapes to know the real Farrakhan. They love to sit with him, dine with him and listen to this creepy chameleon and believe everything he says. Farrakhan is a master liar and a deceiver. Some of the mis-perceptions about Farrakhan are the following:

Misperception #1. Finally, Farrakhan has entered Islam in February 2000.

In fact, Farrakhan continues to promote his dogma in his weekly newspaper, THE FINAL CALL that Allah (God) came in the person of W. Fard Muhammad in 1930, see his newspaper dated October 10, 2000, inside back cover, item #12 under WHAT THE MUSLIMS BELIEVE. See item #5 of the same article, which declares that they do not believe in physical resurrection but only in mental resurrection. Are these your beliefs as a Muslim?

Misperception #2. Farrakhan has given up the claim that Elijah Muhammad was the Messenger of Allah. In fact, he has not and he continues to announce in his radio broadcasts that he has not changed his beliefs about Elijah Muhammad or W. Fard Muhammad. His Muslim-fooling rhetoric is his pronouncement that Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul muttalib was the last prophet. He distinguishes the terms "prophet" and "messenger" in the light of Biblical teachings. He has no problem accepting Prophet Muhammad as the last prophet but not as the last messenger. He thinks himself to be a messenger of God and that is the way he is known among his followers. To fool gullible Muslims he says that he and Elijah Muhammad are "messengers of the Messenger Muhammad , which is true for every Muslim; he need not make big claims.

Misperception #3. He has joined Islam and he does his Salat five times a day and fasts in the month of Ramadan. He claims to pray five or more times a day that he may do but he does not do Salât. His prayer is standing and saying Surat al-Fatiha in English translation and making some du’aa. His prayer does not include Qiyam, Ruku and Sujood, which he does only in public to fool the Muslims. His fasting is not Sawm because (a) it is not required to be in the month of Ramadan, and (b) it is not total abstinence from all food and drinks. As the month of Ramadan has moved into December he told his people to say that they fast in Ramadan. His charity or poor due is not Zakat but a tax on poor peoples’ regular income. Poor people pay him and he lives in his palace luxuriously. He is doing "Taqiyyah" of the Shi’as and teaching the same to his followers so that they continue to believe in paganism and tell gullible Muslims that they believe and do as Muslims do.

Misperception #4. W.D. Muhammad and Siraj Wahhaj have embraced Farrakhan and they know him better. In fact, these two persons embraced him because they believe that this will encourage him and his followers to come to Islam. This is a fallacy they have been living in for the last twenty years. The matter of fact is that Farrakhan has influenced them in accepting him as he is rather than changing himself. W.D. Muhammad and Siraj Wahhaj are total failures in influencing Farrakhan in their attempt of pulling him in Islam. Sometimes some of his followers drift away from Farrakhan and enter Islam by their own personal search for the truth, just as many Christians are drifting away from Christianity and entering Islam. Muslim declarations that Farrakhan is not a Muslim helps the cause and makes his people think and search for the truth. Accepting Farrakhan as is a Muslim makes his followers comfortable and they do not search for the truth and remain pagans in the name of Islam.

After the success of his Million Man March, Farrakhan became so haughty that in the following Saviors Day (February 1997) he declared himself to be the Messenger of Allah, the title that was reserved only for Elijah Muhammad. If he succeeds in his Million Family March he might declare himself to be "Allah (God) in person". Do want to contribute to it? Million Family March helps nobody except Farrakhan and marginally to his cronies in crimes against humanity. He squandered the money he raised in Million Man March. Do want to contribute to this squanderer more money and fame? May Allah help you in understanding the reality. I beg Allah to show me and you the truth as the truth and falsehood as the falsehood.

Farrakhan has not changed an iota during the last several years but he has become more adept in deception, especially to the immigrant Muslims. We must have concern for advancing the cause of Islam to all the people of the world including Farrakhanis. We should reach to the followers of Farrakhan and let them know that what Farrakhan preaches is not Islam and present to them true Islam in the light of the Qur'ân and Hadith. This is a noble work.
